Friends of Contemporary Ceramics (FCC) is a not-for-profit (501C3) group consisting of collectors, curators, gallery professionals, writers and others who wish to learn more about and participate in the Contemporary Ceramic Arts movement.
The purpose of Friends of Contemporary Ceramics is three-fold:
1. To educate the general public bout the world of Ceramic Arts.
2. To Fund educational catalogues of major Ceramic exhibitions in accredited museums.
3. To provide educational grants to public institutions for the advancement of Contemporary Ceramics.
FCC publishes a newsletter to keep its membership informed about upcoming exhibitions, awards and all member events.
FCC organizes an annual meeting during which we present the organization's C.L.A.Y. AWARD. (Clay Lifetime Achievement of the Year)
FCC organizes educational trips in conjunction with significant ceramic events. These trips include visits to museums, artists' studios and private collections.
